About
About this site
A reliability desk for people whose paycheck depends on a rural connection: dated data from one real connection, a backup-line planner, and plain answers on calls, VPNs, public IPs and gaming.

Who runs it
We don’t claim a particular job, home, region or Starlink plan for the owner here. Those details appear on this page and on the report only once the owner has confirmed them.
What is first-hand, and what is research
First-hand: only the data from the owner’s own connection logger, which records latency, jitter, packet loss and outages every minute. The logger hasn’t started yet, so no measured results are published so far.
Research: everything else. Plan rules, IP policy, vendor requirements for calls and VPNs, and gear prices come from Starlink’s support and legal pages, vendor documentation and measurement firms. Each fact shows its source and the date we checked it, and research-based pages carry a “Research-based, not measured by us” label.
How the logger works, what it measures and the thresholds we grade against are all on How the report is measured.
What we don’t do
- We don’t invent people, quotes, reviews or test results.
- We don’t present research as if we tested it.
- We say when Starlink is the wrong choice. If fiber or cable reaches your home, take it.
- We can’t help with Starlink accounts, orders, billing or service problems. Those go to Starlink through your account.
